HIGH-END IN-WALL AND ON-WALL LOUDSPEAKERS
Induction Dynamics exclusive, patented S4X Driver-Control Technology is exceptionally compact allowing this patented, high-end technology to be transferred into in-wall and on-wall formats.
Other crossover circuits require coils to be placed far from each other to eliminate interaction between them, causing complex circuits to occupy too much space for bookself and in-wall applications. Coupled coils cut the space requirements in half, making it possible to fit complex two-way and three-way circuitry into a small enclosure.
Induction Dynamics in-wall loudspeakers can be installed "in-wall", "on-wall" or "freestanding", mounted on optional stands. The integrated compensator switch adjust the circuitry to compensate for the baffle difference due to the effect of wall mounting.
The patent-pending mounting system anchors the in-wall enclosure directly and securely to wall studs, provides vibration-free operation, and easy leveling and depth adjustment. The sealed, heavy-duty, one-piece aluminum enclosure ensures consistent sound quality. Construction scheduling is greatly simplified because mounting can be done either before or after the drywall is installed. Direct mounting to the wall studs eliminates stress and provides greater balance and stability than front bracket-to-drywall mounting which might distort the drywall or shake loose over time.
